7th October 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Light airs Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Gloomy start, brief sunshine and still Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2.50 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Saturday 7th November - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy and still. Even Mag decided to give her early walk a miss today, I did have a drive just after 7 hoping for some foggy pics but it was just gloomy but did spot some avocets at Felixstowe Ferry and home for a hot water bottle in bed to sort through my pics, mainly taken on my mobile. A bit of a lay-in before a late breakfast followed by my exercises, then scambled eggs for lunch before heading out for a walk, down to the prom where the sea was really flat due to the very light winds, even had a touch of sunshine! We made it to The Fludyers before taking the steep Beach Road and meandered to the town centre for a couple of bits then home for a cuppa! Photo Album here |
